This Sunday I hope to put the big Pawnee to the test, I have been assured that it will tow up 4 to 5m gliders with ease
-
Looking good Andrew, best of luck with it.

Pawnee towing a flair k8
-
A friend have the same with a DLE111 , he tow DG1000 paritech 8m80 wingspan and 37 kilos. It's a very good tow plane
-
I've recently bought a DLE 111 engine for the Pawnee
I'm in the process of installing it
I'm also changing the position of the tow release I'm going for a bridle release
-
Trying to fit a set of Dle cans
-
I’d say it will sound great Andrew.
-
Cans finally installed
When I bought the header pipes they came with a roll of PTFE tape apparently you need to wrap the flexible part with the tape to stop it leaking
Just the cowl to sort now and the bridle release
-
Well pleased with the way the cans have fitted
Struggling to buy a 27 X 10 prop
-
Didn't have to cut the cowl
-
After a bit of work the DLE 111 fired up and after a half a tank of fuel I flew the Pawnee
Amazing the difference a few horsepower makes
A few more flights to run the engine in and I'll be ready to tow anything
