I have a holiday home/static caravan about 35min drive from Rathlin , so far John is staying with me and there is room for a 3 more bodies.
All I ask, is that, you to let me know if you want to stay and if so, you need to bring a sleeping bag and beer.  :D

Forecast for Saturday
15mph westerly winds so the Light house will be our place to fly !

Sunday we have heavenly North winds !
White Park Bay is a natural horse shoe and produces some amazing pure lift.

UPDATE,
This week has brought storm force winds and the Rathlin Ferry has not been sailing due to high seas !
If tomorrow the ferry is still not sailing we can go to some of the many coastal sites on the North Coast.
Other big bonus is the Ulster Gliding Club is having their open weekend and flights in the full size gliders are £5 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is 10 mins from my caravan.

Good luck lads, seems you’re have mostly westerly’s to soar on. :D

As for flying in full size gliders,………enjoy. (Personally I prefer the planes I fly in to have a drinks bar, and pilots that wear peeked hats with lots of gold braiding 8) …….makes me feel safer  .)

It’s my 60th burpday this weekend  . Do I hear any commiserations from anyone?……….................................no,…I didn’t think I would! :(

happy birthday keith!!!!! congrats on starting into your 4th childhood. enjoy all the new toys that you'll be getting over the week end. if you're having a drink (no, i don't mean horlicks, that's for old people!), try not to dribble!
ps... me and dave were going to send you a box of buns but then we thought they'd be crushed in the post so we ate them instead. you'd have loved them, they were delicious!
regards again keith, have a great w/end,  gb

Well thank you lads for all your kind words :D ,……(and the not so kind ones as well. :x )
I didn’t know you all cared so much!

Keith

“Try not to dribble too much”…..that’s cruel :( ……

And as for “old man river, he just keeps rolling along”………that’s plain evil!

And yes,…I prefer the second picture Fred  .
