Hi everyone, Just wondering if anyone is to travel for the event? Looking to sort out the food etc for the day. If the Wind stays Northly or NW it looks like it may be the back of Clara. We will not firm up the venue until the morning of the event though. Anyone may ring me from 9:20 am onwards on teh morning to confirm the venue.
Looking forwaqrd to seeing everyone.
Ralph

Yes Fred, but the back is a different slope, suns from the carparking area west for about 1/3 of a mile. Anyhoo will have to wait for the wind to make a decision

I'll be there - travelling from Kerry 8) !

Ralph, could you PM me your number please?  Thanks.

Would there be any value in posting directions to the main probable venues, so that it will be easier than trying to explain directions over the (poor reception) phone to those travelling to Cork?

Hi Ralph,

I'm afraid I'm away with work next weekend so I will not be able to make it down to Cork for the glide-in.  However, I hope you get some decent weather and lots of flying. I'll be logging in from abroad to see the photos!

Hi Guys

Ralph can correct me, but NW looks like the top of Claragh, maybe the lower front slope (I think the limit there may be Westerly), but I'll have to check on the map.

Either way I will scan my Discovery series OS map tomorrow and e-mail it to Fred to post.

BTW, Claragh is the one right behind Milstreet town so you should be able to find it yourselves easily on a map ........

I will scan the route to Mweelin as well ......... :)
