i left the rear end open until i've connected the elevator control horn...



first proper look at all the bits assembled.....


airbrakes built, painted and installed.....


and up close...


that wing really does look nice 'in the bones'....!



next up, sheet the wings and make some struts

and your vimy looks the biz too!  by the way, the 2nd programme of the history of aviation is on next thursday night.  i missed the start of last night's prog,  did they show the vimy?

Recorded it, as one of the girl got sick as I was watching it  :(
Did not had time tonight, I'll watch it tomorrow, but the Vimy is not featured in the documentary for sure, as it was only made for the World Premiere  :D

But President Higgins  and the CEO of Boeing saw it  :lol: (and got some nice words about it  :D ) Still have to get these pages about the Vimy done  :!:
