First Glide In of the season (14-!5 March)
« on: March 03, 2015, 19:34:57 PM »
Cor-blimey the first glide-in of the season is less than two weeks away!  That seems to have come round suddenly. And this is the Bring-and-Buy Glide-In isn’t it?

So who’s up for a trip to the Big L then? I was expecting to make it but it seems we have some visitors arriving from the deepest depths of England. (Everyone sighs with relief  ) So I expect there’ll be a bumper turnout on the mountain this time as I won’t be there to annoy you. (Please say you'll miss me  )

Who's up for it then?

Little Keith

Moi aussi,

Unfortunately no PSS, but hopefully the worlds most labour intensive Phase 6 kit to test fly.
Fitting radio gear as we speak.

I knew it,….(sob)…..Nobody loves me! People who haven’t been for years turn up as soon as I say I’m not going! Oh woe is me

Hi all, unfortunately I can't make this one  :!:  :!:  :!:  :!:

It's little Julia's great grandads 80th birthday so I will be in Barcelona, can't complain too much I suppose. I am upset I will be missing the bring and buy, I have a tonne of money burning a hole in my pocket (*continues dreaming*).

Haven't been on for a while. The glider build is on hold, but would have loved to get out this weekend. Unfortunately duty calls elsewhere.

Good to hear Ger, I don't think I'll make April, but I'll be down again later in the year. Bloody cold at the weekend.

Many thanks to all the pilots who came to the PSS over Ireland meeting last week end.
We had about 16 or 17 pilots coming from all over the country, for a great, but freezing week end! Lots of flying over the 2 days, and it's great to see, despite the forecast not being in our favor, lots of people traveling to our events.

Good flying, good craic and banters.

The Ray Jones PSS Trophy for Best PSS was awarded by the pilots to John Pearson for his new stunning Aermacchi MB339. A well deserved prize and a very nice trophy for a great man that will be sadly missed.

Once again, many for everybody for coming

We don't have long to wait before the ISR Glide in with hopefully, a warmer week end! :D
