I noticed on a Faacebook group today that some one was askiing if there was a group for Irish Glider flyers. I had a quick search amd we all have our individual and club pages but nothing for general. There is a GliderIreland page but last update was 2022 and I think its actually Freds I pointed the gent in question (from Meath) to the GliderIreland forum but it got me thinking do we need a Facebook page? It's obviously one of the first places many people search thesse days.
I have one for Northern Ireland that started off as semi private, public could view and not post, but that all changed with Facebook allowing anyone to join any group alsthough it is still possible to restrict posts somewhat.
What do people think?
