Yep it was a great day.
Some fantastic flying
AND
I was'nt nervous
That was'nt nervous flying.
I was terrified.

I never spent so long scratchin for lift.
Eventually common sense took over and I stopped flying the Discus.
It was great to have it back on the ground and all the bits still connected together.
Good to eventually meet you Dennis.

Now, was I afraid or was I terrified.
Open to all constructive comments.
One thing I was doing wrong was turning when the airspeed was too low.
Hence the wing drop.
Great to see it flying and to know that while the landing was nor beautiful at least nothing was broken.
Thanks for the video Dennis.

Happy Days:
Looks like a good time was had by all :D
Cha' as for being afraid or terrified,......when you feel your heart beating in your chest, at least you know you're alive..
Always better to see moving images of events, well done Dennis. The next thing you should try is flying AND filming. (It's a bit like patting your head slowly and rubbing your chest fast, at the same time  )

Hiya Cha
Discus looks great! Looks like a nice flyer.
Yeah a few tip stalls there alright! As you say you need to keep the speed up when you are turning especially up and down wind. If you fly across the slope and always turn into wind this might help. Also you are banking a lot which looks nice and is fun when you have speed but if you are flying slowly use less aileron and more rudder. The rudder is your friend and more so when you are flying bigger gliders and especially scale machines. But with all new gliders it takes a little time to get used to them and find there idiosyncrasies. If you got it down with no damage, well that's not a bad landing Cha!
Thanks for posting the movie Dennis
