Sorry lads trying to get some work done on the house and am up to my neck in fencing at the moment. Oh joy is me!  :?  :!:

Fred:
Happy Father's day !

David Kelly:
Hi lads,
Pity about the weather but I'm still going to try Kilkeel this afternoon. Should be there for about 2:30. Keep my fingers crossed.

David

haydenc:
Well having missed last weekend due to work and will miss Retroplane due holidays I think I will make the effort and head to Kilakee(or whatever it is called) this afternoon.
Wind in Drogheda is from the west about 10MPH.
There is a lot of low cloud around. I wonder if the mountains are still in cloud.
Earliest I could get there is about 3.30.
Still have some things to do before i leave.

David Kelly:
Hi Lads,
Well keeping my fingers crossed worked  :D . Had to wait for cloud to clear and thought I had wasted my time but then sun came out and Charlie H and Dennis and his son turned up. Also a new chap came by (Andre, I think) who should join us on future outings. All were from my side of Dublin so the slope was dominated by northsiders this afternoon till Peter turned up to put in a showing for the southsiders..well done Peter.

Beautiful afternooon, ~8mph NW wind. Some thermals or updraft from dark clouds. Charlie & Dennis both had Stargazers and C brought along a new Discus also and amused us all with some nervous flying. Peter had a 2M he built which flew beautifully and looked great  8) . I had the 2M fling.

Sorry no pics, must sort out for future. See you all at Retroplane in 2 weeks

cheers
David
