I have a few new catalogues for a few days now..
Some good stuf for MPX and Graupner !
The weird thing, is that it sems the 2.4Ghz from Hitec will not be compatible with the MPX 2.4Ghz !!  :!:
And MPX is now in full swing with the 2.4ghz and the telemetric options sound brilliant ! (And better late than never !)

Catalogues :

http://www.graupner.de/filerootdir/downloads/20090205073338_Graupner_Neuheiten_2009.pdf

Look at the MC32 !!

MPX : http://www.multiplex-rc.de/cms/vorschau/upload/d_katalog/2009_Nouveautes_F.pdf

Like the heli ! But looks like it is just a Corona with a new body...  :?:

New Hitec Radio...

And that's it for now...  :D
Education is important, but flying RC planes and gliders is importanter!

Cool, MPX are making a flying wing now. I don't like the look of that new hitec radio.

Yeah, but nothing really new here.. Just foldable wing, might be cool for some backpakers, but that's it...

I deeply regret the time when we were all waiting for the MPX catalogue to see all the new planes and gliders.. Alpina, Flamingo, BigLift and so on...
Today, is all foam, tasteless IMO...

"O temps, suspend ton vol"...

Time waits for me man Mr Marie...

I don't know now Fred I think they are not bad the new models. The heli as you say is an updated (LMH) Corona with a foam shell. Probably be a very good starter heli though. I thought about getting a Corona myself at one stage but it worked out a little expensive and glider came first. They are very robust and can take a crash and keep flying unlike most helis these days. Fixed pitch only but thats one of the reasons it's strong. I have to say I might be temped. Always thought the Corona was ugly the Funcopter is a little better. Maybe we will see some scale fuselages become available.

The wing is a good addition to the MPX range. Not going to be as strong a EPP but again not a bad starting wing and handy for holidays by folding up!

Merlin is OK. Again maybe for holidays or to leave in the back of the car. Could be a bit of fun.

As you say nothing mind blowing but not bad!!

It all really depends on the prices. Thats the bit I am interested in!!

Downloading the Graupner PDF at the moment. (very narrow band here   :!:  )

Don't think I have ever seen a good looking Hitec radio!! (Well maybe the old ones.) This one is far from the worst!!

Hello all be the way. It's been a while since I've posted. Up to my.....teeth at the moment. Bring on the spring and a few months to build and fly.

Hey Joe, welcome back !  :D

Just to be more precise, I don't think the new MPX stuff for 2009 is bad, but just as you said not mind blowing, but totally in the MPX range.

The Heli looks really good, and if that fly and is as though as a Corona, this is a winner... :D  And just wait a bit, and I'm sure you will have loads of mods and tuning parts you can live with !  :D
The Merlin, that's between a EasyGlider and a Fox, can be fun to have always ready in the car.

The real news for me on the MPX front, is the 2.4Ghz with integrated telemetry  :D

Now, the Graupner catalogue, with Tangent, is definitively more appealing for slope/silent fliers.

By the way, we are MPX dealer at the shop, so all that will be available in Ireland on request  :D  I think nothing  will be available before April  tho :?:
