Hi Guys
After we got home, we realised that the first fly-in of the Kerry Chapter of Island Slope Rebels had been held!
I met up with Brian Coombs and his Dad-in-law for a fly on Saturday. It was an unusual north-easterly wind, so we first checked out a coastal cliff spot near Sandy Bay, Maharees (Castlegregory). The wind was only around 10 - 11 knots, so after a bit of drifting around (and landing out on the beach!) there,we decamped to the top of the Connor Pass. Fantastic conditions there, 25 - 27 knots, straight onto the cliff at the car park, with lift that stretched out into the valley forever! Brian and his Dad-in-law had a whale of a time, I was struggling a bit with my Widrider EasyPro!
Will hopefully have some photos, and will then post a blog!
Chris
