By the way Dermot (Ralph ?)...
Any pictures / news from the Irish Glider Nationals ?

I saw you were doing aerotowing during the F4C championships...

I'm angry that the info did not go through, and nobody was aware of this here... I would have participate to this with all my scale ships... And certainly with others guys over here...

And maybe, that was the moment to show to the MACI that gliders is a real and big thing in Ireland, or at least bigger than what they believe...

Fred  :(

Do you think there will be other glider towing events in the future Fred. I am thinking of building a 1/4 scale Ka8 during the winter (well it might take a little longer than the winter to build it :D ), and I would like to put an aerotow hook in it that will get some use.

Hi Alan,

Welcome back !  :D

Yes, I've bring back my tow plane from France this summer... The plan is to use it in the club or to support other club meetings.
The plane is not ready yet, I need a motor (had an IC, but I want a petrol one now... Cheaper to operate in meetings / club) , but it will be ready for the next season.
I'll keep everybody posted
