RC Soaring DVD's
« on: August 18, 2006, 09:24:06 AM »
I have a number of DVD's at home about RC soaring. I get them from this website, www.radiocarbonart.com , its an american website. They are great for a rainy day, or when the wind is coming from the wrong direction, or both   . If you are considering getting one I would suggest get the DVD "Just Want To Fly" (the first one). It has a good selection of footage in it from Scale soaring in America, Scale soaring in the Swiss Alps, Dynamic Soaring ect. And because of the exchange rate between the Euro and the Doller we can get them cheaper to.
Just thought you would like to know.

Not a problem Fred  :D . I also have that one. I've got about 7 DVD's from them. I must get that Performace Tuning one some time. I also have a Full size soaring DVD called "A Fine Week Of Soaring" I think its brilliant. You get to see a week long soaring compition from the pilots point of view in the cockpit. I think a company called Geo Vision make it.

Sure. But I don't know when I will be up at Kilakee or Mt Lenister next. I'll text you when I do go up and I can bring them with me. I'll be getting a car in September hopefully. So within a year or so I'll be able to drive to the slopes myself  :D .

They are quite cool clips :D . In that second one they really can gain height doing thoes half pipes   .
There is a DVD from Radio Carbon Art called "PSS Masters" with footage from those two places.
