P39 PSS
« on: August 03, 2019, 09:46:48 AM »
Ok, wanted to do a simple build. Quick and easy type. Done!
Build log coming soon. Now waiting for the first flight and see how it goes, but I am quite happy with how it came along.
Education is important, but flying RC planes and gliders is importanter!

Looks great Fred, but why not sheet the wings? It would add neglible weight and get rid of the "starved horse" effect and maintain the airfoil better

Thanks Bill :)

The plan for me was to do quick and easy, but there is room for wing sheeting of course. Not sure if the production version will have it, we'll see after the first flight.

Was built in 2 evenings, covering another one, so as the finishing. I'm sure someone motivated can get it done in a day without breaking too much sweat :)
