Getting close to completion !
Covering is started and should all be finished this week end, ready to fly (well, almost, have to make the canopy after that!)

Same technique used as for the Opel Rak.

Starting with the aileron :



Masking tape applied on the wing :



Then Diacov :



And the excess is then cutted with a new blade following the masking tape to neat and straight :



Et voila !

Now, several coats of varnish need to be applied.

The ply/varnish finish is a lot of work but it is really nice.

Finally did the canopy frame this week end  :D

All in brass, and I think that look really good with the varnish finish  :D

Missing is the top frame... Did it, but I will take a photo tonight with the clear plastic hopfully...

And all the excess is then filed down to make it clean.
