Take Tow
« on: June 16, 2025, 16:10:16 PM »
At our last towing event in Cork on the Monday, I had borrowed Brendan Shellys towplane to tow the stragglers (Fred) .

Unfortunately I had a misshap which ended up rekitting the fuselage abd a bit of the wing.

Steady work for the last few week have produced a repaired wing and a replacement fuse.

Lesson learned, never borrow a towplane.

Pictures to follow.

And the other casualty that weekend was Richard with the deadstick landing and hitting the post with his Xcub.

All back and ready to fly again.

Ah well, only people that doesn’t fly don’t break planes !

An eventful weekend, but an excellent weekend nonetheless! 😃
Education is important, but flying RC planes and gliders is importanter!
