I’ll be there,(sounds like the title of a song, ……..Joe, who was the singer???) on both days. Not sure I can be there all day, but certainly for a good chunk of them.

I was up on the west slope today,…..loads of wind,….loads of lift, and loads of repairs to make.  :!:
I’ve got to finish the new Phase 6 for next weekend. :D  I’ll have to lock myself away in the workshop and put a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door

Windguru is showing NE winds for next Friday,…..lets hope they continue for Sat’ + Sunday …Perfect! :D

It's a Jackson 5 Classic keith.

I won't ask about the repairs :?

Saving the new phase then

Saw that on windguru alright. Lets hope it stays more north than east.

Might get out during the week if it's north. Been a while since we flew that slope

Well thanks for that info Joe,…..Oh guru of the music world. (Or should that read ‘Google’ of the music world?) I shall sleep all the better for that knowledge.

So who is, and who isn’t coming next weekend? :?:

Allan should be able to maiden his K8, and Dave is going to offer his Snipe for target practice.  I don't think Ger & Declan can make it. So who else is going to join this merry band of aviators? :?:

I’ve just learnt that the road leading to my house is being shut off next Sunday for a car rally. So if I leave for Big L it’ll have to be before 09.30 and I wont be able to get home again before 17.00. I guess that means I’ll just have to spend the whole day flying. :P    Well isn’t life a bitch

Looks like nice clear skies. But the sites I'm looking at are say east to north-east wind so far. Lets hope it stays more north than east!

Wed, Thurs and Friday all look like very good days for the North slope at Mt leinster for those not working. I'm sure you will be out keith. Am tempted. I really would like to get the Aermacchi close to finished though   :?:  :?:

Yeah Joe,.........I've still got quite a bit to do on this Phase 6 if it's to fly at the weekend.

Might venture up to Big L on Thursday afternoon though, just to make sure it's still there. :?:

Care to join me? and anyone else?

The winds are looking good for the North Slope this weekend. They’re forecast to be a bit light on Saturday morning :(  but picking up a little for the afternoon. :)

On Sunday I think most models will be able to fly, :D  so bring as many as you can fit in your  respective modes of transport.

Don’t forget your combat planes!  :D I love knocking ‘em out of the sky.  (Provided I can hit them before I’m downed. :!:  )

I'm hopping Dave will be bringing his Snipe,....... Ger, Fred, Joe, and I will be flying Skua's, and I understand Declan will be trying to "kill" us all with a very agressive Zagi.

Anyone else 'Up for a Laugh'? :P Oh, it has to be done!

I make tomorrow a 5 to 6 knot wind from the east with blazing sunshine. Is this ok for Mt L ???????????????

Need intel before making the big trip over.

Dave Mc
At least we walk towards our crashes and not run screaming from them ;)

Hey Dave,

Just checked, wind will be NE to NNE, all good.
East is also good for Mt L.

Bring the light stuff for Saturday !
But no or almost no clouds, sound like a good thermal day  :D

Bigger winds and even more sun for Sunday !  :D  :D  :D

I can smell a really good week end at the slope from here !

Will leave Dublin between 8 and 9 tomorrow.

Er,.....sorry to contradict you Mon Ami, but I don't think so!. East winds are the one direction you can't fly on Big L.

Unless you know of a slope that I don't :?
