Hi there!
Finally, I was able to maiden my Quark at Mt Salève, France near Switzerland, with a 15-20 kmh wind. It flies awesome and easy, thank you Fred!! Weighs approx 1400g with 5 nimh 2000 mah and 100g lead. Needs a bit more wind than my ahi, but the inertia difference is so cool! I just need to complete the covering with a more flashy extrados. Now waiting for the next flights, maybe Belle-ile en mer, Bretagne, France.

nice to see aliphatic rather than cyano! I always feel that it makes an overall stronger model as the joints are a bit more flexible and the wood hasn't gone hard and crispy

Nothing too fancy anyway, the original kit was supposed to be an easy one. And it was! That one needs far more thinking. Not sure why, but looks like they over engineered some stuff! Or the manual definitely doesn’t match what’s in the kit, so there is a lot of improvisation!
Anyway, started on the wings. Glue drying, second half now on the workbench
