Looking good Fred!
Is it going to be electric or IC as the original would have been?

nice to see aliphatic rather than cyano! I always feel that it makes an overall stronger model as the joints are a bit more flexible and the wood hasn't gone hard and crispy

Aawww thanks guys 😘

Nothing too fancy anyway, the original kit was supposed to be an easy one. And it was!
That one needs far more thinking. Not sure why, but looks like they over engineered some stuff! Or the manual definitely doesn’t match what’s in the kit, so there is a lot of improvisation!

Anyway, started on the wings. Glue drying, second half now on the workbench 😃

Getting close!

An eventful weekend, but an excellent weekend nonetheless! 😃

And the other casualty that weekend was Richard with the deadstick landing and hitting the post with his Xcub.

All back and ready to fly again.

At our last towing event in Cork on the Monday, I had borrowed Brendan Shellys towplane to tow the stragglers (Fred) .

Unfortunately I had a misshap which ended up rekitting the fuselage abd a bit of the wing.

Steady work for the last few week have produced a repaired wing and a replacement fuse.

Lesson learned, never borrow a towplane.

Pictures to follow.

Started to cover the tail.

There is an unwritten rule! A Baron is transparent red!

The mini Baron is transparent yellow!

😁😁

Finishing the fuselage with prepping the landing gear, and then, the wings! 2 channels of course, like the original! 😃
