Slope Fest April 18/19
« on: April 16, 2015, 06:47:54 AM »
I hope I have the dates right...

I've just looked up the forecast and while it's looking dry and sunny, the wind doesn't apart to want to comply.

Sat,  20mph gusting 25 @ 045
Sun, 16mph gusting 20 @ 045

Sure we can see what pans out.

Hi all,

Quick reminder if needed :)
This is this week end!

A few of us will be at the slope this afternoon, and I believe some are already over there :)
Strong winds coming from E - NE (9 stones) planned for the week end :)

See you there!

I probably won't be there this year. So I'll see you all at the September Fly-In or maybe at some event before.

Many thanks to all the pilots that came to the event last week end
Another successful event, with 24 pilots on the Saturday. We were 7 on the Sunday, braving the cold, and the promised NE wind!
Lots of flying, craic and banter  :D

"Challenging" wind conditions on the Saturday with slightly SEE wind, so we flew mid slope (we are getting lazy!    ), but everything and everybody flew.
Sunday, we had the NE wind that was promised, it was time for the heavy stuff and the PSS (but it was freezing!).
More photos to come, and again, thank you all for coming :)

Next event is the Shannon FC / Tountinna meeting in June!
